OMEGA Unveils Bold New Seamaster Planet Ocean Worldtimer Edition
OMEGA brings its sophisticated Worldtimer complication to the Seamaster Planet Ocean collection, merging technical mastery with bold, contemporary design.
Originally launched in 2017 within the Aqua Terra line, this global traveler’s timepiece is now reimagined in striking black ceramic, inspired by the Planet Ocean Deep Black series.
Each 45.5 mm model features a brushed [ZrO2] ceramic case and a matching ceramic bezel with a laser-engraved diving scale in polished relief.
At the dial’s center, a topographic map of the Earth is meticulously laser-engraved on grade 5 titanium, offering a vivid view of the continents from above the North Pole.
Surrounding this intricate globe is a 24-hour ring under hesalite glass, clearly distinguishing day from night. The outer dial, in DLC-coated black ceramic, showcases a laser-etched honeycomb texture for a refined, high-tech finish.
Two variations are available: one with turquoise details and Super-LumiNova-filled hands and indexes, paired with a black rubber strap with turquoise stitching; the other in sleek grey tones, with OMEGA’s new grey Super-LumiNova and a grey-accented rubber strap.
Powered by the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8938, visible through a sapphire crystal caseback, the Planet Ocean Worldtimer is water resistant to an impressive 600 meters—combining luxury with serious dive capability.
