Limited Tourbillon Marks Vacheron Constantin’s 270 Years
Vacheron Constantin marks 270 years with a platinum timepiece uniting tourbillon and perpetual calendar in a refined self-winding calibre.

To celebrate 270 years of uninterrupted excellence, Vacheron Constantin presents a rare edition of 127 pieces: the Traditionnelle Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar in platinum.

This extraordinary timepiece introduces the new self-winding Caliber 2162 QP/270, combining two of fine watchmaking’s most prestigious complications within a remarkably slim 42 millimeter case.

Crafted from 950 platinum, the case frames a hand-guilloché gold dial featuring a pattern inspired by the Maison’s iconic Maltese cross.

The motif echoes a historic design from the 1955 bicentennial. Through the sapphire caseback, the movement reveals its peripheral rotor, an anniversary engraving, and a refined “côte unique” finish.

This rare decorative technique, revived by Vacheron Constantin’s artisans, reflects the Maison’s deep respect for heritage and craftsmanship.

Displaying hours, minutes, day, date, month, leap year, and a tourbillon, this watch blends timeless elegance with technical achievement.

The movement operates at a traditional frequency of 2.5 hertz, offering an uninterrupted view of the tourbillon’s graceful motion and a 72 hour power reserve.

This anniversary edition is a tribute to enduring artistry and quiet sophistication. It is a collector’s piece created for those who truly appreciate the highest expressions of horological excellence.
