David Hockney’s Retrospective at Fondation Louis Vuitton
This spring, the Louis Vuitton Foundation showcases David Hockney’s retrospective, spanning all galleries from April 9 to August 31, 2025.

From 9 April to 31 August 2025, Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris will host an expansive David Hockney retrospective, featuring over 400 works spanning seven decades.
The exhibition opens with key works from the 1950s to 1970s, including Portrait of My Father (1955) and A Bigger Splash (1967).

The core focus, however, is on the past 25 years, showcasing Yorkshire landscapes like Bigger Trees near Warter (2007) and digital works such as the 220 for 2020 iPad series.

Hockney’s dialogue with European masters like Van Gogh and Picasso is explored on the uppermost floor, alongside a recreation of his studio.
The final section presents Hockney’s latest works, created in London, where the artist has been residing since July 2023.

As Hockney’s largest exhibition to date, David Hockney, 25 promises an immersive and inspiring experience, reaffirming his status as a master of artistic innovation.
