Burberry and V&A Collaborate on Gallery Transformation
Burberry partners with the V&A to transform its Fashion Gallery, reopening in 2027 as The Burberry Gallery and ushering in a new era of fashion.

Burberry has announced a significant multi-year partnership with London’s Victoria and Albert Museum, supporting the transformation of its iconic Fashion Gallery in South Kensington.
Uniting two enduring names in British design, the collaboration will culminate in the reopening of the gallery in spring 2027 as The Burberry Gallery.

This newly envisioned space will celebrate innovation and heritage, offering visitors a dynamic and immersive experience of the V&A’s world-renowned fashion collection.
Closed for renovation from May, the gallery will be reimagined to enhance engagement and access, with educational programs and digital initiatives expanding the reach of the V&A’s fashion education mission.

Originally redeveloped in 1962, the Fashion Gallery remains one of the museum’s most visited destinations.
Burberry’s pieces have previously featured in several acclaimed V&A exhibitions, from Fashioned from Nature to NAOMI: In Fashion.
This partnership continues Burberry’s legacy of supporting arts and culture globally, following collaborations with the British Pavilion at La Biennale di Venezia and the Royal Academy.

As Tristram Hunt, Director of the V&A, notes, “For over 150 years, the V&A and Burberry have championed creativity.
This collaboration will inspire the next generation through extraordinary design, education, and access.
