Aston Martin DBR22 Signed by Alonso Set for Auction
A rare Aston Martin DBR22, signed by Fernando Alonso, is expected to fetch up to USD 2.4M at RM Sotheby’s Shift/Monaco auction.

A rare Aston Martin DBR22, signed by two-time Formula 1 World Champion Fernando Alonso, is entering the spotlight at RM Sotheby’s Shift/Monaco online auction.

Built by Q by Aston Martin, this exclusive speedster was inspired by the brand’s iconic 1950s racers, including the DBR1 and DB3S.
Its 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V12 produces 715 horsepower, delivering a top speed of 195 mph. This example has only 177 kilometers on the odometer and is finished in Aston Martin Racing Green with AMR Lime accents.

Bespoke features include matte black exhaust tips, 22-inch satin center-lock wheels, and full paint protection film.
The cabin is upholstered in Forest Green leather with AMR Lime contrast stitching, echoing the car’s motorsport spirit.

Delivered through Aston Martin Hilversum, it carries chassis number 14, which corresponds to Alonso’s race number. The dashboard and official documentation bear his signature, added after the 2024 Dutch Grand Prix.

This DBR22 is expected to attract global collectors and fetch up to USD 2,400,000. Bidding opens on April 23 as part of RM Sotheby’s Shift/Monaco sale, which covers Europe and the Middle East.
