A Rare Chance to Own a Le Mans Racer Made for the Road
Street-legal 1988 Porsche Kremer 962C with Le Mans pedigree. £999,950 for a road-ready icon of endurance racing history.

Few cars embody the spirit of motorsport greatness while offering the thrill of road use. This 1988 Porsche Kremer 962C CK6 is one of them.

Originally built by Kremer Racing, this car was developed using factory drawings from Porsche. It features a purpose-built aluminum honeycomb chassis and is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine that produces approximately 750 horsepower.

Chassis CK6-88 enjoyed a full competitive season in 1988, with victories at Hungaroring, Hockenheim, and Wunstorf. It placed ninth overall at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and was later driven by Mario and Michael Andretti at the World Challenge in Florida.

Retired at the end of the season, it was preserved by collectors and later converted for road use by BBM Sport in Coventry. Upgrades include a handbrake, improved cooling, a passenger intercom system, and modern traction control to tame its remarkable power.

Now road registered in the United Kingdom and finished in its original Kenwood livery, it has taken part in events like the Le Mans Classic and Goodwood Member’s Meeting.

This is not simply a race car. It is a rare and remarkable piece of history that can be driven and enjoyed.
